About The Work
I find inspiration in the surfaces of weathered wood and stone. Sun, rain, wind, frost reveal the inner structure of the material and create beautiful textures and colors.

In my work, I try to create similar characteristics, playing with the grain through various surface treatments like sandblasting, scorching and pigmentation. By working on carefully selected trees, I create very thin pieces that I take up to transparency, creating a real lace out of wood which emphasizes all the history of the tree.
