Hand in Hand
November 8 – December 31
A special online exhibition presenting works from leading national and international artists working in wood, paper and metal. Each of these artists shares a love of the natural world and their materials - pieces are hand carved, cut, bent, raised, chased, formed, sandblasted, burned, weathered, rusted, patinated and painted.
Intimate, creative dialogue develops between artists and their material over the years. It's a partnership, working hand in hand, the resulting pieces are in essence a conversation between the two, human-made and nature-made.
Artists: David Barnhill, Todd Hoyer, David Huang, Richard Kennedy, Jennifer Falck Linssen, Alain Mailland, Pascal Oudet, Norm Sartorious, Betty Scarpino, Hayley Smith, Hans Weissflog
